The Florence Neal Cooper Smith Professorship was founded in 2014.  Participating in the run will help make the professorship an endowed chair and support aggressive, cutting-edge research to find an affordable, accessible cure for sickle cell disease for all.  To date, over $600,000 has been raised for this professorship.  Help us meet our goal of raising $1 million to establish an endowed chair.
